Applied English Communication

As English program and curriculum consultant and instructor, I tutor Montagnard scholarship students through Google Classroom and Google Meet. I developed a certificate program with two paths: portfolio assessment and hours of applied learning.

The current Professional and Workplace English course includes a personal profile and sponsor thank-you letter, with drafts, feedback, simple-language directions, and Khmer support. The work connects language practice with communication students can use.

I rate and review exam submissions with a CEFR-aligned rubric and work with the scoring team on consistency and procedures.

Writing & grammar online

Instruction for elementary through high school learners and development of grades 3–5 and 6–9 grammar courses using Moodle and H5P.

TriStar Language Services

English ↔ Traditional Chinese translation

Co-owned by Darcy Christianson and Huilin Gao, TriStar provides translation for medical, legal, business, and educational contexts.

Additional work includes the Vahani Scholarship Program in India, Language for Ukraine, and the Peace Corps Virtual Service Pilot Program in Mexico.
